Kate Moss Designer Crap

Well after the long wait for the very much talked about range by Kate Moss finally arrived in our stores, I have to say that I am not impressed.

I expected to be a little wooed by the once style icon of the century's offering but alas , other than a couple of OK bits, the rest is just plain old seen it before garbage!
Of course it is still being sold at even further inflated prices by people on eBay... where do they find the sellers bah

Geoff Banks has a rant!

Geoff Banks has apparently hit out at the latest trend in "celebrity designers"... can't say I disagree with him mind.

He hits out at Kate Moss' new range stating "Can Kate sharpen a pencil or draw a matchstick man? I wouldn't put money on it." He also had a grumble about Madonna's efforts for H&M, ranting "I think she's a very talented singer. Have clothes played an equal measure in her success as her ability to hold a tune? Sure they have. But can Madonna design clothes? I'd like to see the sketches and watch her cut a pattern."

He does have a point in that it's fair enough for a celebrity to endorse a brand or design but to claim to have sat down and created a collection is stretching it a little no?

Ewe trendy lot!

We can all flick through the pages of fashion magazines to see what's hot and what's not but rather than blending into the dictated fashion flock I love to see a bit of individuality. Granted people don't always get it right but who gives a rats if you can't perfectly emulate the expressionless rake in the latest Elle magazine fashion spread. So to this end this blog is a place where we shall praise style from people of all walks of life and share our creativity with the blogosphere!
